I’ve been job hunting for 9 months now and I am hoping that is finally coming to a close. I’ve been able to make some progress past the initial round of interviews for a job. I should hear back about one this week, and then I also got referred for two more.
Being out of work for so long definitely started to impact my confidence, but I believe that I’ll be able to readjust to a 9-5 and dive in with enthusiasm. I’m hoping that that structure during the weekdays will also help keep me more structured when it comes to my writing projects.
Most of the people I’m working with on these projects have full-time jobs anyway, so the time off hasn’t been that helpful when it comes to time for meetings or collaboration. I think that I can keep making progress with the other projects by just being more efficient with my time once I get a full-time job.
